Features

This process utilizes an oxyacetylone(3100°C) of an oxypropane flame (2700°C) as a heat source and spray material in wire form.
In the wire flame spray process, the oxyacetylene flame is restricted to a considerably small diameter than in powder flame spray, which results in more effective utilization of the energy produced by the oxyacetylene flame. Consequently, higher spray rates and, in most cases, coating of superior quality may be obtained by use of the wire flame spray process that are possible with the powder flame spray technique.
