Plasma Spray Coating

Features

Plasma spray process is a well developed, reliable thermal spray process for the deposition of coatings. By the non-transferred arc, the materials are melted in the plasma stream (vel : mach 2, temp. : 16,500°C) formed by inert gas and molten particles are substantially sprayed to the substrate.
The inherent versatility and easy control of the process permits the deposition of an wide variety of spray materials including metals, non-metals, ceramics(oxides, carbides) and cermets and enables to get the excellent properties of abrasion, high temperature & corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity & EMI shielding, etc. and repair worn parts. Nearly all materials may be plasma sprayed since the substrate temperature can be properly controlled down to 150°C.
